Description

Hung Gar Kung Fu, originating from the Shao Lin Temple, is one of the renowned Wu Shu branches of China. Hung Gar Kung Fu is an effective self-defence exercise when continuously practiced is very healthy for the body.

Master Harry Cheung learned Hung Gar from a well-known master Hong Kong: Grand Master Lam Jo (95 years old). Lam Jo’s master is Lam Sai Wing who learned Hung Gar from the famous Master Wong Fai Hung.Grand Master Lam Jo has taught many students from all over the world. Harry has been practicing Hung Gar for about 40 years in Hong Kong. He also had a number of years of training in Judo and Wu Shu – Modern Chinese martial art. Description

Tai Chi Sword is an important element of Traditional Tai Chi, it has the same origin and theory of Tai Chi but would practicing with a sword. The same as Tai Chi, practicing Tai Chi Sword has a lot of benefit to the human body and health. 
This course will be taught in both English and Chinese by Master Mo Fan, a champion of National Tai Chi and Tai Chi Sword competition from the year of 1999 - 2002.  

太極劍是我國傳統的文化之一。常練太極劍,對人體的健康有很大的好處。舞劍要求精神專注,內外結合,完成動作連綿不斷,對大腦是很好的鍛煉。通過肢體的運動,使動脈血管變得柔和、舒張,促進血液循環及新陳代謝。長期演練太極劍也使全身各關節也都得到多方位的、幅度較大而柔和的運動,起到自我按摩的作用,有助於骨胳的強健。
課程由中國1999 - 2002年全國太極拳, 太極劍錦標賽冠軍莫凡師傅用粵、國、英語親自教授。

Description

Tai Xu Quan is one type of Wudang internal boxing, with the same origin and theory of Tai Chi but different focuses. Tai Xu focuses on the “inborn status” while Tai Chi emphasizes the “acquired status”. Tai Xu Quan was created according to the “map of heaven and earth”, Tai Xu means limitlessness, when Yin and Yang are mixed as one Qi “brewing” in the body. Tai Xu Quan takes “theory as guidance, health-preservation as purpose, boxing as the last choice, morality as attitude, nature as spirit.

Master Mo Fan is one of the top members of the Chinese National Wu Shu Team at the highest level. He was awarded First Class Wu Shu Instructor Certificate by the Chinese National Physical Training Committee. He was also critically acclaimed by the Chinese Wu Shu magazine as the Star of contemporary Chinese Wu Shu master.

Master Geng Zhang Cai is the Canadian national Wushu team coach, official Wushu judge certified by IWUF. He has more than 30 years of Wushu and Tai Chi teaching experience. His students had won a gold medal at the World Junior Wushu Championship and 15 gold medals at the World Traditional Wushu Championship.

Description

Wing Chun is a scientific close range combat system developed by a nun at the Southern Shaolin temple back in the Ming Dynasty about 300 years ago. It studies the use of proper body mechanics and structure to generate its soft yet explosive power, or to neutralize/use the opponent’s force. This is intended to be an on-going class which will teach Wing Chun hand forms, applications, and Wing Chun sticky hands – a combat simulation exercise that transforms the fighting techniques into natural reflexes.

Class instructions will be given by Masters Tony Yung and Kam Wong both with over 15 years of coaching experience. Both are third generation students of Master Ye Wen.
